Engineering fashion

As a designer I’m fascinated by the potential of combining textiles and technology. For the past year I've been approaching fashion design from an engineering standpoint and exploring the possibilities of 3D and 4D printing textiles. This collaborative project involves engineering graduate student, Vladimir Bouriakov, and fellow TFD student, XinYi Hxy, both of whose expertise and creativity have been vital to the success of this project.
